What to Expect at
Our Drama Classes For Young Performers
Each Berzerk session begins with a short check-in, giving students the opportunity to connect with the group and settle into the space before the class begins.
We then move into a warm-up or drama game, helping young performers build energy, focus and teamwork while developing the core skills used in our drama classes and theatre training.
Students are then introduced to a creative exercise, often inspired by the work of a well-known theatre practitioner, before moving on to their main performance task. This might include improvisation, character work, storytelling or script exploration, helping students strengthen their acting and performance skills.
Above all, Berzerk Productions is proud to be a non-judgemental and supportive environment where every young person feels safe to be creative and expressive. Our drama classes for children and teenagers are designed to build confidence, encourage collaboration and create a space where students are supported by both our staff and their peers.
Communication Skills
Through speaking, listening and performance, students develop the confidence to express themselves clearly and connect with others.
Creativity
Drama encourages imagination, curiosity and bold thinking as students explore characters, stories and new ideas.
Confidence
By taking creative risks in a supportive space, students grow in self-belief and become more confident in themselves and their abilities.
Teamwork
Classes are built around collaboration, helping students support one another, share ideas and work together as an ensemble.
